GIF courtesy of Giphy. The noodles had the feel of rubber in my mouth, and were really weird to chew. I managed to choke down about one-quarter of one noodle. I was done. He once ate sea urchin, which he said tasted like phlegm coated in sawdust. There are people who love these noodles. There are also people who love mushrooms. I hate both. I would rather have a little of the real thing than a poor imitation.
Thanks for the honest review! I just found out this stuff exists because i'm thinking of starting keto again. Wondering what you think about the frozen veggie pasta made by a national brand available in grocery stores everywhere. I haven't tried it yet, but I'd like to. I do most of my grocery shopping online with Fresh Direct and they don't have it yet. I checked my local grocery store, which is small, and they didn't have it either although they do have the frozen mashed cauliflower, which is delicious!!
I might have to trek to a giant grocery store. I've tried thm too - I didn't like them either and I like almost everything. I love mushrooms and found that chickpea pasta made from Gram Flour which is chickpea flour are acceptable. More like real pasta than these noodles. I make them from scratch. They do't taste good raw but are pretty good once cooked. They do have a lot of carbs but also a lot of fiber and protein.
