Update: ios Still cannot leave it open in background. It kills the battery. Have to force quit the app or put iphone into low power mode. I guess it continues to cycle adds in the background.

It repeatedly prompts me to log in to my most viewed forum even though I've never logged out — and then returns an error message when I try. And this "modern" app still cannot do what could be done in any web browser 20 years ago! Bottom line is, as easy as it is to browse forums in the app, it is still no match for a web browser. Inexcusably, even such a basic feature as text formatting bold, italic, etc. I'm seeing less and less reason to use Tapatalk.
